Yes. Our Early Years at TSUS Sarabha Nagar (Pre-Nursery, Nursery, LKG and UKG) are the play-led, playway-style first school many parents nearby are looking for. The play is planned: Circle Time, Wonder Time, phonics, early numbers, sensory work, Show & Tell, role-play, art and outdoor play, from 7:50 am to 12:40 pm in summer. The approach draws on Howard Gardner's idea of multiple intelligences. Each Nursery and KG section has 2 teachers and a didi, and there are no formal exams. Our Early Years page has more.

Across TSUS Sarabha Nagar we keep a 1:10 teacher ratio. Each Nursery and KG section has 15 to 20 children and 2 teachers, plus a didi. The didi isn't a teacher. She's a helper who stays with the class all day, taking children to the washroom, cleaning up and helping with anything a little one needs. Teachers watch how each child understands, applies and tries, not who finishes first. Circle Time and Show & Tell are for the whole class, so the quiet child gets a turn too.

New children at TSUS Sarabha Nagar start with 1 to 1.5 hours a day and move to the full day once they've settled, usually within 15 to 20 days. After the first month, our admissions team, academic coordinator and vice principal meet every new family to talk about how it's going, and the principal is happy to meet you too.

Very little in the early years, and that's deliberate. There are no formal exams from Pre-Nursery to UKG at TSUS Sarabha Nagar. TSUS Sarabha Nagar follows the CBSE curriculum, taught in what we call the Shri Way: the teaching approach of The Shri Ram School, Delhi, through Shri Educare. Lessons go beyond teacher talk to projects, presentations, activities, group work, experiments and peer teaching, so children who learn by seeing, doing or moving all get a way in. Daily habits include Circle Time, Wonder Time and DEAR (Drop Everything And Read), and later DEED: debate, extempore, elocution and drama. It's a holistic approach that looks after how children think, feel, move and get along.

On top of the CBSE curriculum, children at TSUS Sarabha Nagar learn by doing: AI, robotics, machine learning, IoT, drones, rocketry, digital literacy, UI/UX design thinking and cyber security, plus English communication, podcasting, vlogging, mindfulness and emotional intelligence. Labs start from Grade 1, with timetabled periods in our STEM Lab, Digital Literacy Lab, English Literacy Lab and Financial Literacy Lab, alongside computer, science, maths, music and art labs. In the early years it starts small. Nobody is flying drones in Nursery.

It's holistic. At TSUS Sarabha Nagar, a child's confidence, creativity and well-being get as much care as their marks. Circle Time, Show & Tell and role-play give young children regular chances to speak up, and later DEED (debate, extempore, elocution and drama) and Discovery Hour carry that on. There is a music lab and an art lab, and children learn mindfulness and emotional intelligence. Clubs start from Grade 1, and every child belongs to one of four houses. Academics are taken seriously through CBSE, but marks aren't the only measure of a child.

Our youngest have their own play area with a sand pit, play gym and soft play.

English is the medium of instruction at TSUS Sarabha Nagar, and we work hard on spoken English through English communication classes and our English Literacy Lab. Children also learn Hindi and Punjabi, and German is offered from Grade 2. If language choices matter for your child, for example after moving from another state or country, ask us when you visit and we'll explain the options for your child's grade.

In its first Grade X CBSE board examination in 2025-26, TSUS Sarabha Nagar achieved a 100% pass result, with the highest score at 96.8%. Our students also take part in national and international Olympiads in Mathematics, Science, English and General Knowledge. We're proud of that first batch, and we work just as hard on steady teaching and support through the year as on the final result.

Yes. Children learn at different speeds, and teachers at TSUS Sarabha Nagar plan for that in class. Children who need extra help get structured remedial support and one-to-one guidance to close gaps. Children who are ahead get enrichment work, Olympiad mentoring and more demanding project tasks. For new students in Grade II and above, the joining worksheet helps us see early where support is needed. If you're worried about your child's progress, talk to the class teacher.
